Boring Sunday

Spent the whole day marking.. Left baby Caden to Tita today as I have to clear the marking asap.. so that next week I can focus on the camp planning.. A little stress with camp planning.. But more stressed with how to reply my boss about the issue on "subject head".

Think I will miss baby terribly next weekend as I will be out for camp for 3 days and 1 night. Sigh.. Why must we have camp? Why must we bring students overseas? Why why why???

Window Grilles Day

Finally deardear and I decided its time to have window grilles for our house. We refuses to listen to our parents when we first bought the house as we love the lovely view from our windows. We feel that the grilles spoils the "see all" ambience and make our house looks like a 'jail'. However, for the sake of the mischievious yet precious darling of ours, we decided to spend money and make ourselves 'suffer'. sigh..

Before the grilles:

This morning the grille man came @ 8.45 am and started putting up the frames in all the rooms and even kitchen. At about 9.30am, he was done. Changing the look of my house and the destroying my lovely scenery in just 45mins.. Luckily mum took leave to help me with the clean up, so I can take care of baby while Tita and mummy do all the clean up.

After the grille man has gone, we brought baby downstairs for a walk as its very dusty and dirty in the house. At the playground, we let baby sit on the rocking animal. Deardear tried sitting it with him but can't.. Haha.. Reason? Look at the pic of me sitting with him and you can imagine why.. Haha..

Email account for baby Caden

Deardear has created an email account for baby Caden. The special part of the email account is that it consist of only baby's name. And according to deardear, its not easy to have an account with your english name and surname. So for those who know our precious you will know what is his email name.. However, if you are interested in sending email to our precious, write to me and ask for his email add.. Haha..

Baby's flu is not getting better...

Baby has been sneezing throughout the day and lots of mucus too.. When I came back in the evening, he sneezed like once every 10 min.. So I decided to give him the oral medication though he ate well, sleep well and is not too cranky. Did not want the illness to worsen.. Actually I called the nurse today and she said can give him some oral one if his flu worsen a little. But just stop at one feed a day unless its not getting any better. Baby.. must FIGHT the flu bug.. Remember you are a FIGHTER, Caden.. Mama and Papa LOVE you!!!

Another visit to Clinic - Baby is down with FLU!!!

Poor baby has been sneezing for the whole day according to Tita. So when I reached home just now, deardear and I brought him down to Dr Ong again.. (Two days ago we brought baby for vaccination.. now we brought baby due to FLU) However, Doc Ong mentioned that its a mild flu and as long as he can drink well, sleep well and not cranky, just give him the nasal drop. However, if his flu worsen, we have to give him oral medicine. Doc Ong stated that it might be because he is teething therefore he is more prone to illness like flu, cough or fever. Just hope that he will get well soon.. Baby, must be strong the FIGHT the flu bug!!!

Baby's 2nd Pneumococcal Jab

Today deardear and I brought Baby Caden for his 2nd Pneumococcal Jab in the morning. We are so worried about baby as he cried so terribly the previous time. So we prepared his fav toy - the butterfly. However, once the needle was poked into his thigh, he started to cry. Think he knows what is pain now. However, once the needle is out and I carried him, he stopped crying immediately. He is such a brave boy now.. Hehe.. During the consultation with Doc Ong, we found out that its better not to give baby eat anything with egg like cake and kiwi as its acidic..

After the consultation, we brought baby to the 3rd level of United Sq. There is a few centre that provided extra training for kids from K1 to Sec level. There are so many kids there with their parents. Deardear told me that he is wondering if we have to send our baby Caden for such training when he is older. I did not want to pressurise baby too much. However, deardear felt that so many kiasu parents are doing so and if we do not, baby might be lag behind his fellow friends. After hearing what deardear said, I felt that its indeed true.. sigh... its not easy to be a parent in Singapore.. And I think its even harder to be a child of a kiasu parent. Haha..

Then we proceeded to 红星大酒楼 for dim sum.. Gosh.. its a satisfying lunch.. Deardear and I enjoyed our meal so much that we could not finish up the LARGE amount of food we have ordered.. Haha..

1st Hari Raya Puasa with Baby Caden

Today is Hari Raya Puasa. Deardear and I planned to bring baby out for a family outing like going museum etc.. However, there are so many visitors today.. So we decided to stay at home and watch 溏心风暴II家好月圆. Tempted mummy to watch this show.. Haha..

In the afternoon, Chloe and family came to granny's house and took the opportunity to come and see baby Caden also. Baby Caden had so much fun and attention from all the grandaunts, aunt and cousin today.

Dinner tonight, we decided to eat something light.. went to Sim Lim Sq and eat noodle. After dinner, we went home and carry on with our show. While watching, my mummy decided to dance with the naughty boy.. Haha..
