After spending the whole quiet afternoon with baby Caden, I decided to let baby learn how to sit or else mummy will keep nagging at me for not doing so. And I found out that he can actually sit!!! Hehe...
Its a sunday that we are "forced" to stay at home as Caden baby is not feeling that well. Though he looks as if he is feeling better yesterday, I could feel that he is still not feeling too well. There is lesser coughing and sneezing yet I could hear his phlegm in his throat and mucus in his nose. He has not been urinating much and his urine smells very strong. Poor baby. However he hates to drink his medicine though it tastes very sweet. Every time he drinks his medicine, he will choke and cry.. Had a hard time feeding him esp yesterday I was home alone with him as deardear was working a full sat day. Luckily he had lots of toys to calm him down after that. He also tend to be more sleepy after his medicination. Maybe his body is fighting the virus so he needs more rest. As a result, I took the opportunity to pack his cupboard full of clothes and realised there're still some clothes that are for 0-6months which have not been taken out for him to wear.. Gosh.. Think he cannot fit into them soon. Haha.. Immediately I took those clothes out for washing and told my mummy not to buy anymore clothes for him. There was a total of about 8 sets of clothings. I took 5 sets to bring to my mummy's place and left 3 sets here. So today I let him wear his new clothes since its a stay-home sunday. Though its a stay-home sunday, the three of us indeed has lots of fun playing together. However, I still hope that baby Caden will get well soon so we can enjoy ourselves better.

Just finished feeding baby and trying to make him to sleep. However he is a little cranky today cause he is not feeling too well. He is down with mild flu and cough. This morning found out that baby has been sneezing and coughing more than usual. Moreover, he has mucus when he sneeze. This is a bad sign... So immediately pack up and bring him to the doctor with my daddy. Doc gave baby a nasal drop and cough syrup and told me to postpone his 3rd vaccination from next monday to the following one. Whatever.. Just hope that baby gets well soon. Thinking about it, maybe we should not bring him to Chinatown yesterday night as a celebration for his 4th month birthday. Sigh..
However, baby is really strong.. He still smile after every sneeze and cough. This afternoon back at Eunos, I was so angry with him for not finishing his milk and wiggling here and there. So I beat him.. really beat him.. Then he cried and shouted "Ma!!!" I immediately soften and sayang him. Poor thing. I think he is really not feeling too well thats why he is cranky. But after the whole thing, I was so heartbroken and apologised to him. And he smiled at me assuring me he is fine. I really love him alot.
Just now deardear brought baby Caden to Marina Square to surprise me after my massage. So happy to see them. And a bigger surprise they gave me was a ju ju be pouch. Its a pouch that I like and long for. This month I was so pampered with so many things like my new hp and this new pouch. Thanks deardear.

In the evening, I went to Bugis to meet deardear to buy a small Polar cake for baby. Then we went home for dinner. Before dinner, mummy bought a drumstick for baby to lick. Therefore deardear took Caden's hand to hold the chicken drumstick and baby tried to lick the drumstick. Looking at his facial expression, I do not know if he likes it or not. Hehe...
After the drumstick eating "ceremony", we took the cake out and celebrated baby's 4th lunar month birthday. Think baby enjoyed his 4th lunar birthday today.

My best friends just left my house. They came over here to visit Baby Caden. They had a happy time playing with baby. However, they need to rush off as they have bought tickets to watch a movie at 9.30pm.
This morning I went to school for a meeting. As I am the minute taker, I went there earlier and ended up I am the only one there at 8am though the meeting started at 8.30am. During the meeting, many things was reported for the half year's progress. The first time that spoilt my Saturday was something that was shared during the meeting. Almost burst out. Luckily the meeting ended on time and I went to Tampines Mall to meet deardear and baby Caden. However, the second time that did not make my day was deardear was late as he forgotten about our meeting at 11.30am. Luckily he tried to make it up by treating me to my fav food - teppanyaki. I must admit that I had a great lunch. The last thing that make today a even more lousy day was the purchasing of handphone. Deardear wanna buy me a new handphone mainly to take baby's pic. He sourced N82 for me but it was quite ex so he waited. Then he found out that M1 is having an offer this weekend on N82. Thus, he insisted on buying for me. I refused as I will be on unpaid leave starting next week therefore I will not be having any income. He persuaded me as its a good offer "in a lifetime". However, he did not do much preparation work and went ahead in buying. So we ended getting the phone at the price that was not expected. He was afraid that I will be angry so he wanted to cancel the purchase. I was so disappointed. After much argument, he still buy the phone for me.
When we reached home, he tried to make it up to me by giving me a good massage and showed me the video he has taken of baby caden this morning. I felt better then.. Its indeed a lousy saturday. Looking forward to tomorrow to explore my new handphone.
We did not go to deardear's company yesterday as its raining heavily and Caden baby is not drinking well. I think there is something wrong with his tummy.. Maybe its colic problem again. He keeps crying when we tried to feed him. In order to make him feel better, I decided to bring him out for dinner with deardear and mummy. We went to Crystal Jade Xiaolongbao Restaurant at Bugis. I ate the Pai Gu Ramen and tried some dim sums. After the meal, I told my mum that they seems to have delicious Shanghai food. So mummy suggested to bring dad there today again. Thus I made reservation for dinner tonight at 6.30pm. After our dinner, we went around shopping for some baby's stuff. We bought some clothes, an umbrella and wet tissues. On our way home, it was drizzling and I put to use our new umbrella to shelter baby. When we are home, deardear tried to feed baby his night feed and ended making him cough. I know that deardear felt very bad and heart pain seeing baby cough till that bad. So I took over from deardear to carry on feeding baby. But I tried not to force him that much. After that, I put baby to sleep. Anyway, deardear dun be so stressed and bad about it. Its not easy to take care of baby and I know you have tried your best by trying to feed him, bathe him and play with him. Thank you.
Now I am in school having ASLC. Mummy took leave to take care of baby for me. I am attending Delia's sharing to blog, so I use the opportunity to write on my blog. Just received the letter from MOE regarding my unpaid leave - its approved. However, I found out something which I overlooked - prorated holidays pay. I realised that not only 3 months and 1 week that I am without pay, I will not be paid for 22 days during the holidays. Sigh.. I feel so poor now. Now I am not paid for about 4 months in total, which means that I will be $13k lesser in my pocket. Sobsob... Is it really worth it? Sometimes I wonder.. But after much thought, I think the time spent with baby Caden will be too precious. Think it worth more than $1 million.
Yesterday, deardear told me a good news. His deferment is approved. Yeah... So he need not go for a second round of reservist this year. So funny.. Dun understand what is SAF doing. He is married with a newborn and they keep asking him to go for reservist. Sigh.. Sometimes I wonder if reservist is useful. One day if Singapore is under attack (touch wood though), who will still stay in here to safeguard the country? With so many different types of warfare, like nuclear, biological warfare, can we escape from it? Can the army protect us if a nuclear bomb is aimed at our country? Sigh.. So many questions with no answers...
Just now baby Caden managed to turn himself from his back to his tummy without any support and help from me. He did it while I was washing his milk bottle. Gosh.. I have to be more vigilant now. The fact that he can turn around any time, he will start to crawl then. Can't really leave him alone and do my things.
Later, baby and I intend to give deardear a surprise by going down to his office to meet up with him. Hopefully this surprise will be a successful one. Wish me luck.. hehe.. Looking forward to this evening's dinner and shopping.
I am writing the second time today. The reason being after the first time I have written about baby's pooing process, deardear and I have decided to go to Beach Road Hawker Centre as a "celebration". Moreover I love the fried hokkien noodle there and my mummy loves the "ah balling" there. After cleaning baby Caden and bathing, my daddy and I bring baby Caden to Beach Road Hawker Centre in 980 bus. When we arrived there, deardear is already at the bus-stop waiting for us.
Once we reached the hawker centre, deardear and I ordered a plate of hokkien noodle each whereas mummy ordered a curry noodle and daddy ordered fish soup with rice. As we are eating halfway, Caden baby is also hungry. So I feed him first. When I was feeding him, the hawker aunties keep looking at him and say that he is very cute and good looking. My gosh, he really attracts lots of attention. After eating the main course, we proceed upstairs to eat the "ah balling". Again, baby attracted attention from the hawker uncles and aunties. Maybe like what deardear said, he is a aunties killer (阿嫂杀手).. haha...jpg)
Caden Baby has just pooed.. Its 3 days once again.. It was such a terrible sight.. Baby Caden often has much problem pooing. Though his poo is soft, he tends to cry alot during the process of pooing. Thus, to make him poo is a very tiring process.. haha.. However, there is a sense of accomplishment after he pooed. Right after he pooed, I cleaned him up and put him on his new bumbo chair that his "po po", who is my mummy, bought for him. He looks so mature sitting on the bumbo chair.
Just now, deardear called me and gave me a very wonderful surprise.. He called in to 91.3 this morning and sang our fav song, Love Me, for me. Hehe.. This is the second time he sang the song in the public for me. The first time he sang it in a pub. Though he sounded funny, nervous and out of tune, I am very touched by it. Its very sweet... Thank you deardear.. Love you.. Muakmuak...

We have just came back from Downtown East. Baby Caden is already sleeping very soundly. Today has been a tiring yet fun day. I really enjoyed myself alot.
The day started off with a bad quarrel with deardear. Luckily, deardear is always giving in to me. So everything just cease... Deardear and I always have bad quarrels yet we always end it fast. Then we went to meet Uncle Victor, Aunt Sandy and Baby Ashlynn at Parkway Parade. One look at Ashlynn, I finally understand why people says that Caden looks like a big boy. He looks really bigger in size compared with Ashlynn. Maybe its because he is a boy lor. Yesterday when I took his weight, I realise he is 7.3kg. Whereas according to Aunty Sandy, Ashlynn is only 6kg even though she is about 2 weeks older than him. After our lunch at Swensen, we walked around Parkway Parade and bought Caden baby some clothes again. Sigh.. I must really learn not to splurge too much since the next 3 months I will be on unpaid leave. At around 5.30pm, Uncle Victor drove us back home.
Uncle Eugene and Aunty Rain came to our home at around 6.30pm. The reason why Uncle Eugene and Aunty Rain comes every sat is because Caden is cute.. haha.. No lah.. Its because Deardear and Uncle Eugene has to jog to train for their IPPT. After their jog, we went out for dinner. Its around 8.30pm by then. Deardear suggested Downtown East. Upon reaching Downtown East at 9.30pm, we were all fascinated by the colourful neon lights and the Ferris Wheel. Must be wondering why we took so long to get there.. Ehh... I better do not comment so much.. Hehe.. Throughout the whole journey there and back, baby Caden was sleeping very soundly. We had our dinner at a 茶餐廳. I love the luncheon meat and the pork chop. They tasted very delicious. After the dinner, we walked around Downtown East for a short while. Then Uncle Eugene drove us back home.
I have just cut baby's fingernails. This is the 5th time I am cutting his nails. But I am still feeling very scared when cutting his nails cause it was the 1st time I cut his nails while he is awake. The rest of the 4 times, I t cut his nails when he is asleep so that he won't fidget around too much. I remembered the second time I cut his nails it bleed cause I cut into his skin around the nails. But he jus have lots of skin around his nails so its difficult to cut his nails. However, today is quite a success though I took about 45 mins to do so as he fidget a lot and I am afraid to cut his skin again. I am so proud of myself today.. hehe..
Just now deardear and I brought baby Caden to Budget Terminal to receive my dad who has just came back from his China trip. Before going, baby poo poo after his 4 plus feed. So I have to clear his poo, bathe him and then dress him up to go to the airport. I am so happy that he pooed after 4 days. He is supposed to poo yesterday but after trying so hard to make him poo, he ended up crying.. So poor thing...
Upon reaching the airport, I feed Caden baby his 7 plus feed while waiting for my dad to come out. Baby was so guai.. He finished his feed and tried keeping himself awake to welcome his gong gong back. When my dad came out from the customs, baby Caden smiled at him. Think Caden baby does miss his gong gong. Hehe.. Then we proceed to the Soup Restaurant to celebrate early Father's Day for my dad and deardear. We enjoyed the food there. The fish, chicken and mince meat tasted really good. After which, we went back to my parents' place in a cab.
Mummy, deardear and I brought baby Caden for a swim today at the Harbourfront Centre. We arrived at the Harbourfront Centre at 10.50am. Baby Caden was sleeping all the way throughout the journey. However, once we reached the Harbourfront Centre, he opened up his big big eyes and started looking around, as usual though.. hehe.. When we are at the Hwa Xia Baby Swimming Centre, we stripped baby naked and put a float around his neck. He looked so cute.. hehe..
