Happy Saturday

Saturday, August 30, 2008

Brought baby down to Marina Sq today.. Not for the Comex 2008 though deardear wanna go down to have a look.. However for the benefit of Caden baby, we decided to go there to buy baby's stuff then come back. There is so many people in Suntec and baby is too young to go such crowded area. Moreover, he is having his vaccination tomorrow.

Saw on the internet about some wall decal. Its called Wink, http://www.winkplay.com/. Its very cool. Deardear and I decided to deco his little room with the decal. So we went down to Marina Sq to have a look at the design that one shop is selling. We bought "baa baa black sheep" and "snowflake". "Baa baa black sheep" is for his room whereas snowflake is for ours. Haha.. We also went to mothercare to get some nightwear, a toy and a play tray for his bumbo for him.. Really spent a lot today.. Sigh.. Have to learn to save up.. Been spending lots on baby liao..

When deardear and I are home, we take out baby's stuff and let him play. Then baby was tired and went to sleep. Whereas deardear and I started our decal decor. Its not easy to do so.. Haha.. We started off with our see thru glass wall. We tried so hard yet there is still some air bubbles in the decal. Haha..

In the evening, Uncle Yeo and Aunt Jean came over to our place. Uncle Yeo bought a mini laptop yet he could not surf the net though he subscribe a wireless network. Deardear checked for him and found out its the device problem. Then deardear installed some software for Uncle Yeo's laptop and ask him to go down to M1 to request for the device change.

Finally we ended the day with a fulfilling hor fun and hokkien noodle accompanied with Stephen Chow's movie.. Haha...

Red Day

Friday, August 29, 2008

Not that Liverpool has won any matches.. Just that I have decided to let precious wear his liverpool body suit with his newly bought red and white leggings today. He reminds me of Willy Wonker.. Haha

Baby has started to learn how to crawl beginning this week. Look at his silly face when he fell on the mattress this morning. Hoping that my playmat will arrive asap. BABY IS FALLING!!!!

However, baby still persists to crawl even so many attempts of trying. Good job baby.. Perseverance is a good value.. Keep it up.. One day you will crawl without falling if you keep trying..

I have also updated a video of him on his walker. He is so excited with he first started to "walk" in his walker. When you call for him, he will try to "run" to you.

Today I also noticed that he has a special way of eating his pacifier.. Haha.. He looks really funny..

Baby Legs Leggings

Thursday, August 28, 2008

Went for facial this afternoon and then rush down to Marina Sq to get leggings for baby. Deardear and I found it online and look for stores that sells them. Lucky for us, we found a shop, http://www.supremecare.com.sg/, that sells baby leggings. The leggings are so cool.. Bought 3 pairs for him and let him try one pair immediately when I am home. Haha..

Wednesday, August 27, 2008

Caden baby is walking.. However, he has the support of his walker. My dad has asked me to take off the leg support of the walker as his legs are able to touch the floor now. He enjoyed the freedom of moving around... Zooming to wherever there is sound.. Haha...

Celebration for Baby's 6th Month birthday

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

Deardear wasn't feeling too well so he came home early after seeing the doctor. Baby was so happy to see Papa in the afternoon which he seldom do so.

After baby's afternoon feed, we tried to give him Heinz Farley's Rusk. Its consists of many big pieces of biscuits. We tried to feed baby the biscuit and he is extremely "high". Look at his dirty mouth and my dirty finger..

At night, we went to buy cake, hor fun, KFC to celebrate baby's birthday. He was so happy to see so many food. My dad tried to feed him some hor fun gravy and whipped potato. He seems to love it. After dinner, we sang birthday song for baby.. He was so engrossed at his little cake and the lighted candle on it. Think he was overjoyed that he refuses to sleep last night. Mummy and I had a hard time to force baby to sleep.

Baby 6th month Birthday..

Thursday, August 21, 2008

Caden baby is learning how to do the proper crawl. Not just use the body to move. However, he is not really crawling yet.. Just posing for the crawl. I feel that he is trying to "Get set and....". The day he starts to move or crawl, it will be "GO!!!". Haha..

Video of baby posing for the crawl... As if he is getting ready to leap more than crawl.. Haha..

Video of baby getting tired of posing.. Haha..

LG playmat...

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Deardear and I have finally (after weeks of decision making - weighing pros and cons) decided to get him the more ex one LG brand - LG Prime Alphabet Pooh - 2300*1400*15mm. It costs $266. Is that the right choice? Its a larger size mat and the thickness is considered reasonable. If we get the thiner and smaller one, it will cost $178. However deardear and I are worried if its too thin, when baby falls, it will be very painful. As baby loves to turn and drop his head here and there. That silly boy.. Is it worth it? Anything for our precious.. Deardear will be eating bread for the whole month as brunch (breakfast and lunch combined so as to save money) and I will be eating biscuits more often for brunch then... Sigh.. Another spending again..

Playmat for baby

Was looking for a playmat for baby. Mummy bought ABC mat for Caden baby. However, it has a smell, it's rough on the surface and it is difficult to keep... So deardear went online to search. He found a playmat called LG playmat.

Walked around Tanglin Mall last night and found Mum Works and the LG Playmat. Gosh, they are damn ex.. Min $199... Deardear said buy online cheaper. So we went home and check online.. Up till now, we are still unsure what to buy. Should we get the LG one or the Parklon one? Should we get the thicker one (15mm) or the thinner one (11mm)? Should we get the bigger piece (2300mm*1400mm) or smaller one (2000mm*1350mm)? Sigh.. The price ranges from $150 to $266. What to do?

OSIM iLife...

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

$628 iLife

Bought an OSIM iLife for baby to put in mummy's house as there is always people smoking near my mummy's place and its causing baby to cough so often. Though its ex, we will do anything for baby.. Read on Today's Parents magazine, secondhand smoke can cause colds, wheezing, ear infections and asthma.. Its scary as deardear had asthma when he was young. Moreover, its proven that even if parents who smoked outside of the house, the levels of respirable suspended particles, including nicotine, were significantly higher in their home compared to those whose parents do not smoke. Its because nicotine attaches to the hair and body while other particles can attach themselves to a smoker's clothes. These are then dispersed into the air of a household when a smoker comes back in after a smoke. Though we do not smoke, the particles are in the air and its harmful for baby... Just have to eat lesser then.. SIgh.. Went around BHG last night with deardear to search for air purifier. I have search online for different brands.. The prices ranges from $99 to $1100. They have OSIM, Honeywell, Maier, Ioncare etc.. Deardear and I have looked at Maier and Ioncare at BHG DIY store. We were quite convinced by one of the model that costs $189. However, its made in China and looks very plastic according to deardear. So when we went past OSIM, we went in to have a look. The salesperson looks very sincere in explaining the product to us and we were very convinced that OSIM is good for him esp with Singapore's weather so weird nowadays, eg Haze and this 7th month. The filters in the iLife is used in hospitals and SIA plane. That convinced us further and he also said that the purified air help to prevent cough, asthma and lung problems. Will update on the "goodness" of the iLife.

"Pooing" Day

Sunday, August 17, 2008
