Baby's teeth are showing..

Have been feeling baby's front lower gums recently as he kept biting things around him and showing weird face by biting his upper lip. We have concluded that he is teething and its coming from the lower gum first. Felt some sharpness in his lower gum these few days and saw some white "thing" at the lower gum too.. Guess his teeth are coming out.. Yeah.. Then he can eat with us soon.. Looking forward to his 门牙. Hehe...

Baby 7th Month Birthday

Today is baby's 7th month birthday. However, we came back to Eunos. There isn't much celebration. Deardear and I bought him a chocolate cake, 3 Russ Berries-Noah's friends' musical toys for his birthday. We sang birthday song for him and fed him a little of the cake. Though its simple, think baby enjoyed himself a lot. He was smiling all the way when we sang him the birthday song. It seems like he knows that we are singing the song to him.

While waiting for pa pa to come home, Caden baby was playing on "po po's" bed and showing some funny face.

Baby has been very itchy hand recently.. He has been trying so hard to open the cupboard in the living room of "gong gong's" house as he has seen "gong gong" opening before. Just now "gong gong" opened the cupborad door and he took the opportunity to park his walker in the space and started to mess up the things inside.. He pulled out a plastic bag that belongs to "po po" and started to fling it around.. Haha.. I immediately snapped a pic of him ransacking the cupboard..

Future Soccer Player or Mountaineer?

Looking at my precious today.. I think he will either be a soccer player or a mountaineer.. Gosh... He is so daring.. Trying to stand up with things as support as if he is climbing a mountain.. And when you place a ball near his legs, he will start to kick.. Think its in the genes.. Hehe.. And in order for him to climb easily, "po po" even tied a big ribbon at the back of his sleepsuit. Haha..

Gum-Itchy & Playful Baby

Baby Caden seems to be teething. Though there is no sign of teeth at all, baby seems to have very itchy gum. He kept biting all his toys that he laid his hand on. So I ask Tita to give him his teether. Look at how much he enjoyed his teether. Sitting on his playmat with one hand supporting and holding his teether on the other. Hehe..

Baby seems to love to play balls regardless kicking, throwing, catching or even bouncing. Haha.. Just now Tita tried bouncing his new stressball given by an uncle from Fuwell Sim Lim Sq. He was playing with it so happily that I decided to take a video of his silly face and laughter..

"Po po" 's Pomegranate Plant

"Po po" has a pomegranate plant. "Gong gong" always bring baby to touch the plant, pull the leaves, pull the pomengranate and knock baby's head against the pomengranate. Baby seems to love the pomegranate plant a lot. Whenever he is near the plant, he will stretch out his hand to grab the pomegranate. And he seems so happy and has a sense of achievement while grabbing the pomegranate. One day, the plant will be "leaveless" as baby will pull out all the leaves.. Haha..

Baby has always been curious about things around him. He has been always looking and wondering what is the "thing" that has coming out from our humidifier. Just now, when deardear and I tried to put him to sleep in our room, he kept looking at the mist. So deardear and I decided to let him play with it for a while.. He tried to catch the mist.. It looks so funny...

Swimming Baby

Just now at 9.45am, deardear and I set up the pool for baby to swim. It has been more than 2 months since baby last swim in the pool at home. Baby had a great swim.. Though his leg is able to touch the base of the pool, he is smart enough to lift them up to swim. He could do backstroke and frog style.. He even tried to "water walk" in the pool.. So funny.. After about 25 min of swim and "water walk", he was tired so we carried him out of the pool to clean him up. Then he drank his brown rice cereal and went to sleep soon. Guess he is really tired out after the exercise..

"Cranky" Day

Today baby seems to be very cranky.. After he woke up from his nap at 10am, he refuses to sleep till 3.30pm. Whenever we put him down onto the sarong or bed, he will cry.. Gosh.. He cried so much that his eyes are swollen.

Deardear and I planned to bring baby to "Ye Ye's" house at 3 plus after he woke up from his nap. Then we will move down to Huimin Ah Yee's house for Granduncle Lawrence's birthday party. However, baby was so cranky and not cooperative. We almost cancelled all the home visits. Finally at around 5pm, deardear asked "ye ye" to pick us up to "ye ye's" house. At "ye ye's" house, baby Caden was very cranky too. Think he did not have enough sleep. Started to cry when he saw "nai nai" and when he had a good look at the house. Think he is not comfortable to be at other people's house.

At 6.30pm, we proceeded to Huimin Ah Yee's house which is only a block away from "ye ye's" house. Again, baby Caden was cranky.. Started to cry when he saw Uncle Chongzhi. Maybe Uncle Chongzhi was quite loud. He also started to look around the house and began to be cranky again. Grandaunt Wendy has to bring him out to the corridor for a walk. Then we followed Huimin Ah Yee to Prima Deli to collect Granduncle Lawrence's birthday cake.

At 8pm, "ye ye" came to bring us back home. We did not even have the time to sing birthday song for Granduncle as Caden baby is really cranky and tired. So we decided to go home early. On "ye ye's" car, I made milk for baby and fed him. While drinking his milk, baby Caden began to doze off. After his milk milk, he fell asleep.. Gosh, he must be very tired... Haha..

Its indeed a cranky day for baby.. As for deardear and I, we were really tired after a long day of dealing with cranky baby... Haha..

Visit to mama's school

Today is the Student Council Step Down Dinner for the Sec 4Es and 5Ns. I am invited to attend the dinner so I decided to bring baby Caden along. When I arrived at the school at 7 plus pm, students swarmed over to check out on baby. However, baby was sleeping, so I left him upstairs in the staff room with deardear and Tita. AT about 8pm, I brought him downstairs after his milk and sleep. All my councillors began to crowd round him, carry him and took pic of him. Gosh he is really the centre of attraction. My students even said that he is the star of the night. Haha.. Will update the photos after my students have sent them to me. Left school at around 8.45pm. By then, baby is already tired after much entertainment. Haha.. We went to get dinner and took a cab back home. :)

Baby loves porridge

Po po made porridge for baby today as she is on mc today.. Baby had a great time enjoying his porridge. Looking at his anxious face while waiting for porridge is a clear sign that he loves the porridge po po made for him... :)

"Po Po" on MC

Today po po is on MC. She stayed over at our place as gong gong has to drive taxi last night. She spent the whole day teaching Tita how to cook the porridge and clean my kitchen. She also had lots of fun teaching and playing with baby Caden. Just now, we brought baby Caden downstairs for a stroll. We went to the playground let baby sit on the rocker, slide, the stairs and play with the pull-up bar. We also notice that he can sit on his own without much support from us.

Back at Eunos on a Wednesday

Today we are back at Eunos because the HDB people are coming to check on the problem areas of our house and Sebs will be getting contractors down to measure our windows because we are making window grilles for the sake of baby Caden.

Back at Eunos, Caden baby was happily crawling on the floormat that we did not bring back to Selegie due to the heavy weight. He even tried to stand up by holding onto the rocker. But... He fell and knocked his face on the rocker.. Surprisingly, he did not cry.. Still dare to smile at me.. Naughty boy..

Talking about his face, I am also quite worried about his chin. There seems to be some rashes on his chin due to dunno if its his milk or saliva.. Been cleaning his face everytime he drool or after his milk.. Yet the rashes do not seems to go off.. sigh..

Since I was taking some close up shots of baby face, I decided to take some more artistic pic of his close up face.. Haha..

Then when deardear is back, we noticed that he can sit on his own while crawling here and there. And he seems to be able to sit upright without any support from anyone... Good job baby... I tried to take pic of it. However, he is so active that I am not able to take a good pic at all..

At around 7.30 pm, we brought baby Caden to meet po po at BHG as po po needs to buy a pair of good shoes for walking. Po po has swollen feet and doc advised her not to carry too heavy stuff and must wear a pair of good walking shoes or else her feet will be swollen again. So po po bought a pair of scholl shoes.
