1st Family Photo

Two nights ago, I slept on my frameless specs. As a result, it was almost out of focus. So today I waited for deardear to be home so that we can bring Caden to get my specs adjusted. On our way to the specs shop at Bencoolen Centre, we took some family photo. Its a little distorted but still quite ok. However, I still feel that I look very fat.. sigh.. When can I get back to my original size?

When we reached at the specs shop, the uncle saw my specs and said I need to send it for repair. He can only help me with some adjustment only as the specs is really very 'gou yat'. Sometimes I wonder how I sleep on my specs.. haha.. Therefore, I decided to make a new pair of specs. Tried some specs with frame one and one of the brown/pink specs caught my eyes. After much consideration and negotiation, I finally bought the pair of specs.. Its very nice but its a little ex.. Anyway I have bought it.. Will collect it next tues.. hehe.. Looking forward to my new specs and new look.

Caden's 2nd Vaccination Jab - 1st 5in1 Jab

Today deardear and I brought baby Caden for his 1st 5in1 vaccination jab. I am kind of worried about it as I am afriad of seeing him cry and suffer for the jab. Therefore deardear took leave to company me there. We reached the clinic at 10 plus in the morning. The nurses took his weight and height. He is 6.8kg and 65cm in length. Glad that he is putting on though he has not been drinking much milk recently. Dr Ong did some basic checks on him and then did the jab on Caden. Luckily, deardear bought Caden some toys yesterday for his 3th month bday. We used it to distract him. As a result, he jus cried for a short while and started playing with his toys. After which, we brought him to trim off his hair as he is getting some rashes at the back of his head. My god.. He looks so cute.. like a monk with a botak head... And we need to change his outfit due to the tonnes of hair stuck on his previous outfit.. We also ended up buying him a new set of mittens and booties. Then we decided to give my mummy a surprise by bringing him to her workplace. And time passes real fast when you are having fun. We went home at around 2pm as we did not want to stay outside for too long after the jab.

Baby's 3rd Month Birthday

Today is baby Caden 3rd month bday. As its a weekday, we did not really celebrate for him. Just bring him out for dinner with us and then bring him to the OG. Deardear want to buy him something for his 3rd month bday. I have bought baby a Levi suit. So deardear buy him some interactive toys to stimulate baby. We found out that baby is interested in toys that have music and can move. We also see a Bumbo chair at a discount. However, mummy is scared that he is unable to sit properly so did not allow us to buy for him.

First Day back to School after 12 weeks of Maternity Leave

Today is my first day back to work after my maternity leave ended. Mum took 4 days leave to take care of Caden baby. On one hand I am very excited going back to school. On the other, I missed baby Caden alot and can't bear to leave the house. This morning, he is very guai.. He woke up at aroun 6 plus to send me off to work. His smile makes me want to stay at home and not go to work. However, I do not want to waste my unpaid leave. Therefore, I forced myself out of the house.
When I am back in school, I spent all my time catching up with my colleagues, doing relief, settle some council matters that I must admit that I have forgotten baby Caden. By the time I managed to sit down and have a rest, its almost 6 pm. Then I rushed to Bugis to meet baby Caden and my parents as we are looking for maid at the Bugis Village. Now that I am back at home, I am really deadbeat.. Another school day tomorrow.. Sigh...

Trip to visit Grandaunt @ Pasir Ris

Today is vesak day. My parents came over to our house for a stayover. Yesterday night, we went to parkway parade for dinner - to celebrate belated mother's day for my mummy. Dad treat us all to Crystal Jade. After which, we went over to a "Liang Cha" shop to eat "gui ling gao". We met Mr Low and his wife in the shop. This is the first time Mr Low got to see Caden baby. However, he is sleeping so peacefully.

This morning, we brought baby Caden to Pasir Ris. Must be wondering why. My youngest aunt has a shop at the market. Dad want to "show off" his grandson. Therefore, we brought Caden baby there. I dressed baby Caden up in the jumper I bought for his 1st month bday. And I think he looks like a girl. What do you think? We stayed there for an hour. Almost everyone who walked past him will stop to look at him and say that he is so cute. I am really proud to be his mother.. hehe.. thick skin ya.. After which, we went to the White Sand for lunch.

斗牛要不要 Chase

I spent the whole day chasing the taiwan serial, 斗牛要不要. Deardear bought it for me about 2 weeks ago at Novena Sq, knowing that I will be very bored at home during my maternity leave. However, I was so busy taking care of baby that I had no time to even watch it. So today I dedicated my whole saturday chasing the whole show. Up till now, I only finish up to episode 9 as I still have to take care of baby Caden. Talking about him, I dressed him up in the Taz romper. This Taz romper we bought for him from bugis about 1 month ago. Luckily, I remembered about it. If not, I think he will not be able to fit in soon. But, the material is so lousy. The button dropped out after 1 try and the cloth near the button was torn too. Moreover the cloth material wasn't that good too. Though baby looks nice in it, we had to throw it away. But we did take some pic of him in the romper.

Say Cheese..

Today is the second time Caden baby lift up his head again. He is doing a better job this time. He knows that I am taking his pic therefore he looks at me and smiles. Keep it up baby!!!

Baby's 1st visit to the market

Today is a sunny sunday. Deardear and I decided to bring Caden baby for a trip to the market. This curious boy was looking around all the time. Lucky I carried him in the baby bjorn. If not, my hands will break by the time I reached home.

After the walk around market, we went back to our place to pack up as we need to bring baby Caden back to celebrate my dad's birthday. Deardear decided to dressed Caden up as a 'Superhero'. Therefore, we took out the romper that Uncle Andre and Aunt Cammi bought for Caden from Australia. After which, we took some funny shots of Caden.

Early Celebration of Mother's Day

This morning, baby Caden, deardear and I went to my gynae for the follow up of the minor op. My gynae said everything was fine. Then we proceed to Taka to buy play gym for baby Caden as deardear heard from Victor that his daughter, Ashlynn, enjoyed her play gym a lot. After much shopping, we finally found a nice play gym - the rain forest for Caden baby. By then, baby was hungry. We went to the feeding room in Taka to feed Caden. Gosh, he is so "kapo" that he looked at all the babies around him and refused to drink his milk. We spent about an hour there feeding him and changing his diaper. After feeding him, deardear and I are famished. We went to Crystal Jade to eat dim sum as a celebration of Mother's Day.Being my first mother's day, its disappointing that deardear did not really planned any surprises or celebration for me. Sometimes I feel that after having baby Caden, deardear spent more of his attention on baby. Sigh.. But Caden is still our beloved baby.

Big Head

Caden baby lifted up his head when he was on his tummy!!! Just now baby Caden tried turning himself over with the help from me. He has been well trained by his "po po" who is my mummy. However, he still have some problem turning over fully. Therefore, I helped him along the way. But what is surprising is the fact the he lifted his head up to see me when he was on his tummy. Gosh.. he looks so cute from this angle. So I immediately took my hp and snapped some pic of him... Hehe..

Sweet baby

Today deardear came back from his reservist for the weekend. So happy to have deardear and baby Caden by my side this weekend. But another week whereby deardear will be going back to camp. Sigh.. However, baby Caden was so sweet. He tried to cheer me up by posing a very sweet pic. :)

Baby Caden in Liverpool baby kit

Its Liverpool day. Deardear decided to dress baby Caden up in his first Liverpool kit that he has bought online for Caden. Though Liverpool did not win the match the night before, deardear always say its the team spirit that counts, not the winning. Haha.. Therefore, he insists in putting on the Liverpool shirt and shorts for Caden. However, baby Caden did not wear it for long as he pee on his shirt and we had to change it out for him. And I can sense deardear's disappointment as he wanted to show off the baby kit when we bring him out to Plaza Sing later at night. Its the first time baby Caden went out for so long at night. He seems to enjoy himself by looking around.
