Couple Time with Deardear

Deardear is not working today... And I purposely not arrange any meeting in the afternoon so I can spend some couple time with deardear.

We decided to watch movie at Plaza Sing. Of course, its deardear's fav movie - Transformer. Before the movie started, we went for lunch and shopped around before going for the movie.. It was a real action packed movie.. I was all tensed up throughout the whole movie.. Enjoyed it a lot.


After the movie, we went to Rochor to collect my mum's shoe. Then we rushed home to play and company our precious.. Though its a short couple time, I really enjoyed the short time we both spent together and we know that we cannot bear leaving Caden at home alone for too long.. We will miss him.. Hehe...

Another Sunday...

Its another Sunday... We spent this sunday bringing Caden to Subway at Sing Post with my 4th aunt and my 4th uncle in the morning.. Spent about 2 hours there... Eating, shopping... Deardear and I found out that there is a 'Aston' outlet at the foodcourt so deardear and I packet the chargrilled and black pepper chicken home... It tasted fabulous..

In the late afternoon, we bring Caden for his Jap class as per normal. This is the last lesson of the term. Time really flies.... And he has done a piece of artwork with vegetables cut to different shapes and all Caden need to do is to chop on the drawing paper... Its so cute and nice..
At night, deardear and I went shopping on our own at Iluma. Actually, deardear been wanting to watch his fav movie Transformer, Revenge of the Fallen. So we decided to see if there is any available slots. However, there isn't. So deardear asked to shop around as he has been trying to get my a sweater. I love the one at Adidas but it's ex. I have also seen the one at Puma. Not that bad and is cheaper. But... I also dunno leh.. Will wait and see... Hope that there will be a mega discount at Adidas.. Haha.. Whatever, its a great time to spend alone with deardear..

Cousin Caleb's First Month Birthday

Today is Caleb's baby first month birthday. Deardear and I brought Caden to my cousin's house by train at around 5pm. Then we shopped around the NTUC before going upstairs.

The buffet dinner started at around 6.30pm. My cousin in law's family and our side of family all turned up for the celebration. Its my cousin's 2nd baby who is also Chloe's little brother. He looks so cute. I tried carrying him. Was a little scared as its not my own baby... Almost forgotten how Caden was like when he was 1 month old.

Missed those time when Caden was also a baby... Hehe.. Catch up with my cousins for a while.. Enjoy such gathering once in a while.. And Caden also enjoyed himself as he was playing with Chloe all the while.

At around 8.45pm, we took a cab back home... At home, deardear and I relooked at Caden's pic when he was a baby... Equally as cute.. Hehe..

Caden fell down and gotten a bump...

Yesterday Caden fell down when my dad brought him downstairs for a walk. According to my dad, once he let Caden down, the naughty boy started to run down the slope along the walkway. As usual, he normally ran in a slant way. Thus, he fell to the side and his head hit the drain cover. Sigh.. Poor boy... Ended up with a big bump with bruise on his forehead. Though he did not cried much according to my dad, I was really heartbroken when I saw him.

In the middle of the night, we noticed that Caden is breathing very hard as he seems to have blocked nose. Therefore, my mum and I decided to bring him to see Doc Ong today. As I need to work in the morning, we decided to bring him to see Doc Ong in the afternoon and at the same time, I would like to ask Doc Ong to check on his forehead too.

Luckily, Doc Ong mentioned that Caden is fine even after the fall. As for Caden's runny nose, he might have gotten a cold from the Wild Wild Wet outing. On top of it, I think Caden is teething thus causing the runny nose too..

Update on Caden's teeth:

Caden has 4 extra teeth on the top gum and 2 extra teeth on the bottom... So in total, he has 8 teeth on top and 6 teeth on the bottom.

Deardear has flown to India

Woke up at 5.30am today so that I can go with deardear to airport to send him off. Deardear has already prebooked a cab to be at my mum's place at 6am today.

After boarding the cab, we headed for Eunos as I have forgotten to bring something back yesterday and deardear did not want me to stress so he requested for the cab driver to drive us back to Eunos first. Then we proceeded to airport. We arrived at 6.45am. Deardear's flight is 7.30am. He stayed with me for a while and went in at 7am. Sigh... Missed him so much...

After seeing him walked away, I went to Coffee Bean for coffee and carried on with my "Eclipse". Reason being, I need to do quite a few things today. I had to collect the bears that I have ordered from my ex pri sch as they are undergoing prime project so fund raising. Then I have to collect the free gift from subscribing to Young Parents at SPH. As I can only collect the bears at 9am, I decided to stay at airport and read my book before proceeding to the sch.

Really miss deardear alot... Miss you deardear..

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day. I poured coffee for deardear in the mug I bought for him in the morning.

There is not much celebration as we have already celebrated on last Thursday. Moreover, deardear had to pack for his work trip tomorrow. Deardear is going to India tomorrow.. So we went through the normal things we will do on sunday.

In the evening after dinner, we took the time off as couple time to walk around Parco. At the same time, I bought him another gift... This is something he is longing for - Liverpool away jersey 09/10.

We aslo bought a small cake to celebrate Father's day. But as usual, I was so blur that I did not ask for candle.. Haha..

Anyway we still go ahead with the celebration. Deardear and my dad cut the cake together. What a Father's day.

But I know I was not happy as deardear will be leaving for India tomorrow. Sigh.. Miss deardear already...

Wild Wild Wet

After yesterday's outing, deardear and I felt that Caden loves water so we decided to bring him to Wild Wild Wet today...

Reached Downtown East at around 9.30am and realised that Wild Wild Wet will only be opened at 10am.. So we walked around and bought Caden a float and a water 'gun'. Then we found out that the float cannot be used in the Wild Wild Wet.. Sigh... Felt so cheated.. But deardear said that we can use it next time when we bring him for swimming in swimming pool.

When we went into the Wild Wild Wet, we put all our things into the lockers. Then we proceeded to the Professor's Playground and Yippee! (a pool for kids as the water is warmer) for Caden to be warm up first. Then deardear carried him to go through all the different slides. He seems to enjoy himself alot... esp with the water gun..

Then we proceeded to the Shiok River to relax... We are supposed to lie on the float and relax as the float slowly moved along the river... However, naughty Caden refused to lie on the float so deardear companied him. They ended up pushing my float.. Haha..

Finally, we brought Caden to the Tsunami - something like the waves at the beach. Caden seems to love the waves alot and enjoyed himself here. At 11.30am, we brought Caden to the rest area where Tita feed him with some biscuit while deardear and I carried on with our adventure. Deardear and I went ahead to try the Ular Lah and Slide Up. The Slide Up was so interesting and good. I really enjoyed myself. For the Slide Up, we have to carry a float up the stairs but I am really glad that deardear refused to let me carry. He carried the float up all by himself.. Thanks deardear...

After all the adventure, we went to the Tsunami again for one last time with Caden. Then at 12.30pm, we went to wash up and went home...

Another exciting day for Caden and our little family.. Looking forward to more of such outings...

Jacob Balla's Garden

Today deardear took leave... So we can spend some quality family time together...

We have planned to bring Caden to Jacob Balla's Garden. Somewhere near Botanic Garden... So we took a cab down... Its nearer to the NUS side...

Quite a nice place with lots of plants, trees and even water area for Caden to play. We did not know that as a result, we did not prepare any towel for Caden... So we decided to walk round the garden first then let him indulge himself in the water.. haha...

There are lots of interesting spots in the garden such as the cave, pond, tree house, maze, playground etc...

After going through all those in about an hour, we brought Caden to the Water spot.. At first he refused to come down from our arms. We insisted and put him on the ground. He tried standing in 1 leg.. Then, he joined in the fun while I tried to play too... Finally, he was the only one playing happily and getting himself all wet from the water..

At about 1pm, we decided to bring him to Ochard for lunch and shopping... We walked around Wisma for a while after lunch. Saw this shop that sold Transformer stuff. A transformer polo caught deardear's eyes and I got it for deardear as his present for father's day. However, after a while, we noticed a stench... He has pooed.. So we decided to go home immediately...

Its after all a wonderful day for us esp deardear took leave to company us...

Early Celebration of Father's Day

Today, we decided to celebrate Father's Day early with my dad and deardear.

After deardear arrived home and bathed, we went to Raffles City for dinner. I treated my dad and deardear to the restaurant called Teahouse The Asian Kitchen. The food tasted really good esp the duck though its a little ex. Caden tried to eat on his own while we are eating.. For the first time, we have not heard his voice while he is busy 'feeding' himself.. haha..

After dinner, we walked around and I collected deardear's mug. I have made this mug with Caden, deardear and my pic on it for deardear to use as Father's Day gift from Caden.

At around 8 plus, we headed for home as my parents are tired and we had to make milk for Caden.

Caden and Papa... SO happy...
