Two Front Teeth

Sunday, December 14, 2008

As deardear was applying Dentinox for baby after dinner, he felt some sharpness at the upper gums. I was so excited and tried to feel it too..

Baby's two front teeth are coming out soon.. Hehe.. Hope that his two front teeth can be seen more clearly by X'mas.. Haha..

Baby loves to play Soccer Ball like Papa..

Like deardear, baby loves soccer ball too.. haha.. Its really something that is genetic I guess.. He is learning how to throw ball.. Soon I guess he will learn how to kick..

Besides that ball, he loves the floor too.. Haha..

Baby is able climb steadily...

Trying to take a video of him climbing up the box. However, baby thought I am taking a pic of him thus he kept posing for the pic..

Finally managed to take a video of him climbing.. I remembered mummy said not to let baby climb yet she is the one who encourages him to climb and teaches him how to come down too.. Haha.. She is always contradicting herself..

Some pics taken by deardear while I tried to take a pic of him climbing.. He was distracted by the camera...

Visit to Doc Ong this time!!!

Saturday, December 13, 2008

Brought baby Caden to Doc Ong on friday afternoon as I felt that his fever did not subside much. According to Doc Ong, this time baby's is down with serious fever, flu and sore throat. He decided to put baby on antibiotic. So baby has many medication this time round. One antibiotic, one for flu, two for sore throat, one for fever and one for high fever.

When we got back home, we had a hard time trying to feed him with the medication. He cried like nobody business when he had to take 5 types of medicines. At 8 plus, my dad drove us back to Eunos.

At night, his fever finally subsided.. SO glad that his fever has subsided. Really 一分钱,一分货. Although the visit to Doc Ong is more ex, the medicine is better and it helps baby to get better. Should have gone to visit Doc Ong earlier so baby no need to suffer so much.. Sigh..

Ready to visit Doc Ong

Baby is having HIGH FEVER!!!

Friday, December 12, 2008

Caden baby was down with high fever yesterday.. Suspected to be affected by deardear and Tita.. Deardear was down with fever, flu and sore throat on Monday and Tita was down with fever, flu and sore throat on Wed. Worst of all, she took care of baby Caden the whole of wed though she is down with fever.. Sigh..

Anyway, cannot blame anyone for it.. No choice.. Wanna bring him to Doc Ong in the afternoon. However, the fever subsided, we decided to self medicate him as we have some medicine left from the previous visit. But, at 5pm, his fever went up as high as 38.9 degrees. Thus, deardear and I rushed him down to KK as Doc Ong is closed for the day. Waited at the Emergency Ward for 1 hour and finally got our chance to see the doc.. Doc mentioned that he has terrible sore throat thus causing the fever. And might have flu developed later. However, she can't give us cough syrup as there is no cough syrup that they have which are for babies of 9 months old. Took the medication and rushed home.

Weird Hair Baby..

Looking at Papa..

Looking at other kids playing..

Tried to sponge him before putting him to bed. He was terribly cranky and cried non stop. He has never done such thing eversince he passed his one month old. Guess he must be feeling very terrible so he cried that badly.

Poor baby with the Cool Patch

In the middle of the night, deardear and I woke up twice to feed him fever medicine. His fever ranged between 38.0 to 39.8 degress over the whole night. And I practically did not sleep so to pat him to sleep as he was very cranky... Maybe body aching..

Never seen him so cranky before... Really felt so heartbroken..

Ducktour & Hippo Cruise

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

Today deardear took leave to company me as it was my bday yesterday... Decided to bring baby Caden on a Ducktour.. Deardear found out that there is this 2 in 1 package that includes the Ducktour and Hippo Cruise. So we decided to go for it. Deardear went to pick Chloe up at 1pm and we arrived at Suntec at 1.35pm to collect our boarding pass for Ducktour and voucher for Hippo Cruise. At 1.55pm, we had the safety briefing at the counter and then were led outside to wait for our 'duck'. Our Duck is by the name of Katrina as it survived the hurricane Katrina in 2004.

After boarding the Duck, the tour guide intro to us about the places around Marina. Our Duck went into the water 5 min later. Lucky it was a windy day, we enjoyed ourselves during the ride. We learnt a few things during the Ducktour like the side of Marina Mandarin Hotel looks like an elephant, the baigua window of Ritz Carlton Hotel is transparent at night when lights are switched on from the inside, there is the mama Merlion and baby Merlion at the one fullerton and papa Merlion is at Sentosa, the Singapore Flyer is 165m high whereas London Eye is only 135m high though their circumference is the same as it has a 30m of shopping complex built beneath the Singapore Flyer.

Outside of Duck Katrina..

After the Ducktour, we took a complimentary Hippo bus to Clarke Quay to take the Hippo Cruise. Its another very enjoyable and cooling cruise. Learnt a few things too like Fullerton Hotel was a post office then hospital then finally hotel and it is good for its chocolate buffet, Anderson Bridge is the only bridge across the Singapore River that is lighted up at night due to many haunting stories as during Jap Occupation, many heads of the spies were hung around the bridge and filled it up.. Gosh.. it sounded so creepy.. When the boat went under the bridge, it felt eerie too.. haha..

Deardear and my dating place...

After the cruise, we headed to Liang Court for some tea break at Mac. Then we walked around Meiya Supermarket and bought some biscuits for Chloe and baby Caden.

On our way back home...
Finally, we were home at 5.30pm and baby Caden and deardear was exhausted. Deardear and I immediately clean him up and Tita put him to bed for a nap.

Its an enjoyable day.. Looking forward to more of such family outing.. But of course minus the bodyache that deardear was suffering... :)

Mama's Birthday Celebration

Monday, December 8, 2008

Had a simple celebration on the actual day itself... It was a drizzling day the whole day with one of the lowest temp in Singapore. As a result, all of us are trapped at home in the morning. Baby woke me up by kicking me and making noise. But he gave me the most precious gift which is his wet kiss. He knows how to 'kiss' people now.. Haha..

In the afternoon, we went to the Roland Restaurant for lunch. Met daddy at Parkway Parade and walked over to the restaurant. It was quite a sumptous lunch that my parents treated me. Lucky I had a $30 voucher which lessen the cost a little. After lunch, daddy insisted in going home as we can all take cab back to my place. So we ended up going back to Eunos to rest. After the afternoon nap, we went back to po po and gong gong's house for dinner.

Chloe and Aunt Cher Ting came over to celebrate my birthday. Deardear specially got me this choc birthday cake from choc.a.blog. Though its really fudgy, I love the dark choc taste.. :)

My another bday cake - from deardear..

Overall, its a simple bday celebration, but like I always said, I enjoyed the time spent with my family.
