Caden down with Flu

Caden has been down with flu since Thurs... However, Doc Ong was not open on thurs afternoon, thus I was planning to bring him to see Doc Ong on fri afternoon. My mum took leave on fri afternoon as I was not able to leave school early. But, Caden was better on fri so we decided to carry on feeding him with his old medication.

However, on sat morning, he started sneezing and there is mucus... Therefore, deardear and I decided to rush him down to Doc Ong. As we were early, there wasn't many babies... According to Doc Ong, Caden is down with flu and will need to be grounded at home for this weekend.

At 10 am, we are done with Doc Ong so we went to the restaurant next door, tang dian wang, to try the food. At the restaurant, I fed Caden his milk and medicine. However, maybe he choked on his medicine that he vomited all his milk out on deardear... I immediately bring Caden to change and deardear went to buy new clothes to change.

The waitresses was very nice. They were not unhappy that we dirtied the place and even make hot our food when we were away. We came back to our table with piping hot food again. With such good service, deardear and I decided to bring my dad there for his birthday celebration.

After our food, we went for a very short shopping spree as there is a kid's bazaar at basement. Then we rushed a cab back home.

In the evening, my best friends came over to my house for a gathering.. Been almost 3 months since I last saw them.. Had a great time catching up with each other.. Lucky I have deardear to help me take care of Caden while I catch up with them. They left at around 11 pm.. And deardear brought Caden into our room to sleep.

Mama Yen is sick again...

Indeed its an unlucky year for me... I am down again... Seems like I am suffering from anemia. Been having giddy spells and blackout epsiode recently... Dunno what is wrong...

Was on my way to school today and felt very giddy on the bus... So took the bus to Bishan and visited a clinic near my school. The doc asked if I was very stressed... He mentioned that its symptoms of new working mother who is very stress. However, I do not feel that stress that the doc was mentioning. He said maybe its because my body can't take it anymore yet I do not feel it.

Sigh... Another 2 days MC... Should I stay at home to rest or go to school tomolo?

Last Jab for Pneumococcal

Today, I brought Caden for his booster jab for Pneumococcal, as I am able to leave school early.

Made an appt with Doc Ong and rushed down immediately after Caden has woke up from his afternoon nap.

When Caden saw the needle, he started to make noise. I had to hold him tight. Once Doc Ong has injected the needle into Caden's left thigh, he started to burst into tears.. Was crying so terribly... Feel so sad... I immediately tried to divert his attention to other things.. After a short while, he stopped crying but refused to let me touch his thigh. Mayb its still hurting.. However, he still smile and laugh and kept calling me while I am paying for his jab... Think he just trying to make me happy cause he knows I am sad that he is in pain... My precious silly boy...

After that, we took a cab home so that he can rest after his jab.

First formal Term for LNT

Today, Caden has formally started out at LNT for his first term lesson. Deardear and I have decided to sign him up for a year's lesson with LNT as we can save more as we sign on longer. In today's lesson, there are 2 more students in the class. This time, I can really see how easily distracted Caden can be.. He kept looking at his classmate during activities time and even want to take their tools to play instead of his own. But I can see that he is more focus than them as he has attended 3 more sessions as compared to them. He is able to pick up things more easily than the other 2. Just hope that he will get used to having classmates in his class so that he will not be too easily distracted again. On the whole, I feel that we have chosen the right kind of training for him and that LNT is good... :)

Visit to Tampines1

Decided to have a look at the new shopping centre at Tampines - Tampines 1. Deardear told me about this a few weeks ago and said wanna bring us there. So today, we took the opportunity to go with my mum.

It was super crowded over there.. Wanted to look for the Taiwan stall opened by Jeff Wang but it was not opened. We ended up buying about $300 of honey at Yummi House.. one for my parents, two for Caden and three for deardear and me. Needs lots of honey to soothen my throat for teaching...

Then we went to try out the new Kopitiam known as "Kapitans". It was super crowded and I feel that the food there was not at all fantastics.. After dinner, we walked around some baby shops to look for clothes and shoes for Caden but all seems ex and not that nice...

Finally, we went back to Tampines Mall and Century Sq.. Its less crowded there and more shops that we are familiar with.. Bought some pacifiers to replace Caden's current ones. Then we proceeded back home..

You are my Super Husband

I am dedicating this blog to my husband Adrian Teo.. Thanks for being the super husband of my life...

I know I am not easy to be with as I am the only child with a lot of demand and bad temper and also with anxious nature.. Used to be pampered by my mum... Now that you are taking over the job of my mum to look after me, to pamper me, to give in to my unreasonable demands & tantrums and to give everything to me..

No only that, I know you also promise to take care of my mum.. You know she is the most impt person to me other than baby Caden and you... You know that she is taking her time to accept you yet you always try to give in to her and even do whatever you can for her.. Like tonight.. You rushed back to her house to get her medicine at 10.30pm knowing she need them tomolo and refused to allow her to go back on her own as its late..

Thank you deardear... Always putting me as the most impt.. Thank you deardear for being my super husband.. Love you.. And thank my Kwan Yin goddess for giving me a super baby - Caden Teo...

Visit to Marina Barrage

Deardear and I woke up at 6 plus this morning.. All prepared to go for our Marina Barrage trip. This time, we are not just going out in our small family.. But with my aunties, uncles, cousins and niece.

We arrive at the Marina Bay MRT at 9 am and took the free shuttle bus to Marina Barrage. When we arrived at the Marina Barrage, we started walking around and snapping some pic.. Then we stopped by at the cafe to feed Caden his morning porridge.

At the cafe, I saw Mr Low, who is my principal, with his family too. After Caden has finished his meal, we proceeded to walk through the Sustainable Singapore Gallery. Took some silly pic of the naughty boy. Only then I realised that my Nokia 5800 is not as good as my Nokia N82 due to the camera.. Its not as good in taking night pic or pic in places that are darker. But never mind, I still love my phone.. Cause its bought by deardear...

At around 12.30, it started to pour and we decided to go back. We took a train back to Marina Sq for our lunch. After lunch, baby was a little cranky as I think he is tired so we took a cab back to Eunos...

Back at home, I decided to change baby's diaper while he is sleeping.. However, he peed on my bed twice when changing.. Haha.. The naughty boy is really cheeky even when he is sleeping.
