It has been raining for the whole morning.. Quite demoralising to see the rain as deardear and I intended to bring baby out to Sentosa as a family outing.. Moreover, deardear took childcare leave today just to bring baby Caden out.
At around 1.30pm, we decided to carry on with our plan and ignored the rain. We took the NEL line to Harbourfront and took a monorail into Sentosa. It costed only $3 per pax to take the monorail in and out of Sentosa. While on the monorail, we saw many new developing places in Sentosa. Looking forward to the Universal Studio which will have many different rides. Deardear looking forward to the Transformer ride.

Bought the tickets for the monorail...
When we arrived at the Beach station, we took the Siloso tram to the eating place. Deardear and I ate at Sakae Sushi along the Siloso beach. I was looking forward to it as heard from Uncle Derrick that the food is fantastic. However, when we arrived there, it was a little disappointing. The setting is a little too simple (like a foodcourt). But we decided to enjoy our lunch as its our monthiversary (normal 8th of the month) lunch. Ordered Teppanyaki set for myself, Udon and tempura for deardear. Not that bad though..

After lunch, we took the tram to the end of the Siloso beach. On the tram, there are some pri sch students. They played with baby Caden and kept saying he is cute.. Haha.. Then we walked to the Underwater World. Outside of the Underwater World, we saw some peahens walking around.. Surprisingly, baby dun seems to be afraid of them. In the Underwater World, we enjoyed ourselves a lot.. Seeing so many fish swimming "around" us.. Learning about the different type of crabs... Wowing at the angel fish.. We even took a souvenir pic inside the Underwater World. We bought the pic and 2 magnets of the pic. The person at the photo counter kept praising our precious and gave us 2 additional wallet size pic. Deardear and I each kept one in our own wallet. As for the magnet, we will be giving one to my parents to be put on the fridge.

After exploring the Underwater World, we proceeded to the Tiger Sky Tower via the red line bus. Its the Singapore's tallest observatory tower offers panoramic views at 131 metres above sea level across Singapore, Sentosa, Southern Islands, right up to neighboring Malaysia and the Indonesian islands. Took some pic with baby when we are at the top of the sky tower.

Think baby is teething.. Keeps biting anything he can find..

At around 6pm, we took a monorail back to Vivocity. On our way back to the Harbourfront Station, baby fell asleep in my arms. Tried to feed him milk and he refused to drink. Guess he is too tired after the outing.. Think he really enjoyed himself during this wonderful family outing...
