I am not working today as its holiday in lieu for Vesak Day. As a result, deardear also took his Off in Lieu to company his little family out as a post mother's day celebration.
However, as it was raining very heavily, deardear had to come home first to pick us up. Then we took a cab to Meritus Mandarin - the hotel where deardear and I held our wedding lunch on 3rd Dec 2006. Then we took a lift up to the 35th storey - Pine Court Restaurant. Deardear checked out that there is a cheap dim sum buffet at Pine Court on weekdays. $16.80 ++ per pax. We almost had a heart attack when they said that there is no more vacancies as we did not make any booking. Luckily, deardear insisted that the waitress try to arrange. Finally we gotten a table near the window.. Wah... Window seat...
Gosh.. The food is fabulous.. We have ordered for more than 15 different dishes of dim sum. Some are special and some are exquisite. The service is fabulous too. We really enjoyed ourselves during lunch though we have a noisy baby who keeps asking for 'mum mum'.
After lunch, we shopped around Taka and took a bus home as our precious is really tired... Moreover, he has to prepare himself for a second round of makan session in the evening as we are going to United Sq - tang dian wang to celebrate my dad's birthday.
